General structure.

In general the powder coating device consists of a powder supply, air preparation unit, powder paint intake unit, control unit, high voltage converter, spray gun, air and powder paint hoses. The main powder coating methods are electrostatic and tribostatic, accordingly, powder coating devices fall into the two groups. The simplest and most handy one is the START 50 device. It consists of a power supply and spray gun with a built-in high voltage converter. The spray gun allows application of different types of coating (traditional, tribo, metallics, antiques) in the electrostatic field, has a short-circuit protection and shock protection. The capacity is up to 1.2 sq.m. a minute. A paint cup in the upper part of the spray gun is filled with paint, the cup capacity is 150 g.
